Uprated 2014 Viper TA For Track Attacks, Not T’n’A
The just released 2014 SRT Viper already trumps the 2014 Corvette Stingray when it comes to performance, as a vehicle priced over $50k more should, but it’s still shy of the now defunct 2013 ZR1 per a recent Motor Trend Ignition segment. That clearly wasn’t acceptable for SRT boss Ralph Gilles.
Introducing the 2014 SRT Viper TA.
A vestige to the first generation car, the Track Attack package is less about adding on, than it is about deletion. Leather seating? Gone. Audio? Oh, about ten cylinders of it. Carbon fiber? Yup… new X-brace, front lip spoiler and rear wing. Badges? Hope you like stickers.
Slightly lighter and equipped with the same 640 horsepower 8.4-liter V10, the Viper TA slithers to sixty in just 3.3 seconds, making it quicker than the base and GTS models by just a smidge. Priced around $120,000 and offered in black, white or Crusher Orange (33-model limited run), it’s no Viper ACR, but it’s getting closer.
Your move Corvette.
